Need to come back tomorrow and do more trimming and secure it in there a little better, but I'm tired and going home for now.

Got truck back all quiet now no ticking. Got off work and made a bracket and polished it and installed my catch can.

Now waiting on my clock spring so I can add the heated steering wheel. Got the wheel from a friend we done some checking and my truck is prewired for.

Glad to see you put one in, seems like they are a necessity on the DI engines.

I had to when I cleaned the intake that's what caused the cats to stop up. I didn't want that happening again plus after some of the ones I saw what they caught figured I needed to do it.

Cam that shit is perfect. I want one.

Also, I forgot that a big tire and a small wheel can look so beefy. I love it.
Thanks guys. I'm planning to sell the other stocks and 35s to fund better tires for these welds. I'm on cheap Chinese tires, but I'm considering going with swampers..my only issue with that is how much highway driving I do. I put 27k on my last set of mud graps and they still had well over 60% somehow, but I've never ran swampers and don't know how they ride or wear. That being said, if I find some OG claws local then you bet your ass I'm gonna scoop them up.

Any input on the tires or size I should get? I'm thinking stick with 33s. After seeing them on the truck I kinda dig it..especially after running 35s for the past 4 years

I'd stay on 33s and look at Toyo AT2 or MT

I'm going for a MT to keep an aggressive and relatively old school look. I'd like to have toyo OC but not sure theyd make one wide enough to have zero stretch for a 16x12 wheel. Currently on 305/70s and they're a little stretched and ride like ass

im THINKING about picking this up as a winter beater/project truck

04 with 94k for 5k but it sat for a while so there is a metric fuck ton of surface rust and the rocker is starting to rust on passenger side....i kinda dont care but i think itd only get worse, plus the frame rust really freaks me out. Probably gonna pass, what you guys think? Is re-coating the frame a huuuuuge task or nah?

Fuck it, I'd do it. The frame's not bad, just get some brush on rust encapsulator and then either black paint or brush on undercoating. That'd be pretty easy. But the rocker/can corner will continue to get worse since the rust is already in there and you can't get inside to treat it
