Whoops, gotta look at it better but it's for sure the CV boot. Not sure if it split or slipped off, will investigate tomorrow.

Pretty sure you're right, just haven't got to look at it yet. I know I can push on the boot and hear the air come out of it.Hate to tell you but by the looks of either end, the boot is split.
Once I see how bad it is I might pump it full of grease and try to silicone it shut, just have to find the tear.Yep, done. Good thing is you can buy boots and replace it but it's mess AF. Depending on how many miles on the truck, and the price of the shaft, I would consider just replacing the entire shaft.

Idk how they wont. Lol. Once I bent the tabs out I put in the wheel. Put painters tape to hold it an ran silicone around an let dry over night. So far so goodsrsly wish the caps had fit mine...wouldve saved me some time and money :rofl:
