Is a vette servo an easy mod to do with the transmission in the truck? Will it make much of a difference on an otherwise stock performing truck? Would I need a tune or anything else to go with?
Yes yes and no.
Most guys do them in the truck, it'll firm up the shifts and no tune is needed.

If you have a tune though, you'll need a retune lol. Most tuners crank up the line pressure then the servo does it mechanically so shit is turnt up like lil john and shifts funny

fml. my story right now. lol needs a retune bad.
Double check yours is installed good first like I told you lol. Mine did the same thing yours does for a while till I had it retuned.

Can this be done on the nnbs 6sp trans? Not sure what the designation is.
