Looks great man, just like mine. I welded the lip underneath and it's solid as a rock, just added a little mud to fill in underneath where it was welded and i couldn't grind and fill all the holes perfect.

Good call. I just picked up some 16 gauge plate steel. I'll cut some pieces out, tack them in, fill, sand and prime. Just what I was thinking.

Dug my mig out and looked around for some thin sheet metal. (before I bought some steel)
This unlucky garden tool was nearby :hahaha:

I'll only need a few welds to hold everything in place. Don't want to blow through.

It's going into the paint shop 1st thing tomorrow morning. I'll put all the proper parts on it after that is finished.

Getting ready for my trip to the paint shop.

Looks funny, hood not bolted on. Done though..

Installed the fender, and doing some other body work..

removed windows, handles, panels, mirrors and a few other things.

Should I remove the black trim on the top of the tailgate?
I am thinking yes. I can do it before dropping it off in the morning.

Just finished rinsing it down. Long couple of days.

It will probably leave 4 holes. My snowmobile ripped mine off this winter so I figured out my tailgate has them

Had to focus on prepping other areas. I guess I could always shave it afterwards. Too much to do and not enough time.. As usual.
