ITGuy's 2003 Sierra 1500/2500 4x4 RCLB Build Thread

Oh nice. I was looking at several different ones, and checked out the scangaugeII . I have a long 'do-list' but I am going to see if I can link this to my Pioneer AVH-X8500BHS via bluetooth. It will run some apps that can probably work with it. I am certain there are some cool hacks out there for it too. I'd like it all on one display screen.

* Today I get my Rims, Lower front bumper. Can't wait to do a test fit.
I'll bail out of work a bit early to go get the tires mounted and balanced so I can install them over the weekend.

I am going to wait for my lights to come before I take the front end apart. Probably just sand the body in a few places and prime them so it doesn't get out of control. Also still need to get some steel for welding the frame before I can even think about pulling the bed and cleaning it up. So many things.... :shot:

still waiting on bumper lights, lower bumper and fogs... among other things.
Going out to test fit the tires now.

Edit : I went outside and got called back into the office.
Issues with connectivity to a pair of our servers. Yay.
I'll test fit them in the morning.

It did give me a chance to layer some evapo-rust on some exposed frame.
I'll let it set overnight and see if it helps remove some of the corrosion.
It supposedly doesn't work well because it will evaporate to the instructions are to soak parts in it.
it's going very far tonight if it doesn't freeze first lol.

Time for a beer. Cheers men.
