2000 is a half year, it could have either body style so it could have either motor.

and they didnt make a "2500HD" till the nbs body style. before that they were just 2500's

I am going to need a beater while working on my truck soon. I don't have much choice.

My workplace is auctioning off it's fleet vehicles to employees.
They have a 2000 Chevy 2500 CC w/ 8 foot bed that I can probably pick up for a few hundred bucks.
It's been used at the construction site and rusty underneath but it has does have a sticker for another year.
I'll probably bid on it because no one else will haha

I checked it out. It's 2wd VIN 1GCGC33R9YF501897
It's a 3500 and it has the 5.7L V8 OHV 16V according to online.
the office told me 2500. Didn't mean to cause an arguement men. lol
It's still a big ass crew cab.

Meh I'll probably just get a little beater off craigslist for a couple of months.

ryan offer them a few hundred for the savanna with the 6L pull it out scrap van and clean the engine all up nice while driving the truck then when its time too swap its all ready IMO

still gonna be extra high mileage, you would be better off finding something with less then 125k and not having to rebuild, unless you want to go crazy and do like a 408.

A guy 2 blocks is parting out his ride and it has an 8.1 in it.
He said he would sell a complete drop out for $1k if I helped.
I would jump on that if I just wanted monster displacement.

I'll keep looking for the lq4/lq9 unless something awesome presents itself.
There are a lot of options for sure. Easy to spend money.

No exciting shipments today :< just a new wirebrush and some Victory Red paint.
