Dean's '11 Crew Cab Budget Build

Here's a better shop of the level.

Based on the poll I made, I'm going to bring the truck back up to level. I should get a free day to work on the truck this weekend pending weather, so I'm going to throw the rc spacer and 2" rear block. I'll give it a while to settle out and decide where to go from there.

On another note, I think I found a new spot for a photoshoot. Just took this the other day to shop the level, but I think the pic turned out really well considering the truck is filthy and I used my phone. Played around with it on Photoshop express and I'm fairly pleased with the outcome.

I got quite a bit done today. Asked the misses for a free day for my bday about 2 weeks ago and she complied, so today was the day.

Started off by putting some 2" blocks in the rear and put the factory shocks back on. They are rusting really bad, so will probably be adding those to the list.

Then I moved to the front and put the rc strut spacer back in to bring the front back up.

I'm going to let everything settle for a week or so before taking measurements, but I like the looks of it now. Forgot how much I loved the look of these trucks leveled.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure rotors will be the next thing on my list. When working on the front I realized how badly grooved they were. All the lines you see are actual groves, not marks.

Once the weather clears back up I'm gonna try to wash her up really nice and have a minishoot.

Got her cleaned up some after work yesterday and snagged a couple pics.

Decided to go on and take some measurements too. Front is at 38" and rear is 38.75" - 39". I want it to sit fairly level, so which direction should I go? Should I bring the front up .5" - 1" or should I bring the rear down 1"?

I know. It won't change until I swap the struts out. I'll run them at 2" lift and see how it sits before adjusting any further.

On the topic of shocks, what would be some good ones for the rear keeping price in mind? Will I need a longer shock or am I OK with stock length since there is only .75" lift over stock?

How much do the bilstein run a piece? And at 5'4, I need the steps, lol. Been thinking about hitting them with plastidip to make them blend in though.
