Dean's '11 Crew Cab Budget Build

Here's some pics I took last night. Please excuse the messy truck, lol.

So I think I've decided to step down to some 17" stockers and try to flip my current wheel/tire setup and try to either save for nice wheels or more little mods. I have two different options to go with, but I'm not sure which would be better.

Option 1: wheel/tire combo that most likely has tpms sensors.

Option 2: separate wheels and tires

Or (terra grapps)

I'm leaning more towards option 2. Its cheaper up front and allows me to hold out for other tires if I wanted to, but I don't know how much tpms and mounting/balancing run. Opinions?

That's not too bad. I'm gonna try to get a quote from the local tire discounters today and see if they have the sensors.

I guess my main delema is what tires to go with. The duelers are local and cheaper. The Terra grapps are about 2 hours away.

Deal fell though on the stock wheels, he couldn't meet. Still may try to get them.

Also, the boss 315's have really been eating at me. The guy still has them and I had got him down to 450. Could be getting a bonus check this week so I am very tempted. He's going to get some better pictures tonight so I can see if they are any good. Found a good pic online and decided to shop them on to a current pic of the truck. Doesn't look bad at all to me. Thoughts?

Thought that as soon as I did it. The drop may be off a little, but its pretty close. I should have an even gap all the way around up front with the back a little higher. Did find out that they are a x10 wheel, just don't know the offset. He had them on an NBS Tahoe and they sat flush with the fender.

Got some el cheapo led reverse lights last night. They don't seem to improve visibility much over stock. I'll have to order some Cree bulbs when I get a chance.

Still trying to get some good pics of the wheels. Guy keeps forgetting. Going to send him a reminder when he gets off work and hopefully try to work out a deal this weekend. I may be getting a bonus today (end of fiscal year) that would cover the purchase.
