Because I've personally seen a G80 pop on a stock AF vortec OBS with mAll Terrains on it. Same theory as the 700R4 in my obs, does it need to be built to handle 2-2.5 times stock power, definitely not but it's not going to hurt to upgrade it while you are in it.
 
Actual mods will be happening this week.

AVH-4700BS, custom 10" under-seat ported box and Alpine Type S on the way.

Also forgot to update this thread with the jector install. Also bought a polished billet antenna from Nick.

Hopes and dreams for 2016: turn this thing into a DD

Plans:

Install trans lines
New bumper
Install my gears
Bilstein 5100 struts and shocks
RC UCAs
305/50 General Grabber AT2

That's it. When I get done with my taxes I'll do the gears first. Then suspension beef-up after that, then tires.

Trans lines will go in as soon as it warms up a little, bumper next week.

Girlfriend bought me weathertechs for my birthday also. Gonna order myself some new front and rear wheel well liners shortly.

Went with Summit brand 4.10s, supposedly using the same exact manufacturer as Motive so we'll see how they hold up and act over the years.

Ordered replacement switchbacks for driverside, rear wheel well liners and a replacement front driverside fender liner. Bumper will get ordered this week and installed asap. Shit is finally coming back together after a few months of being haggered

:nice: I've always preferred carpet mats but I'm so sick of the passenger side always being fucked and sideways. Might havta get some weather techs eventually
