Ideally id like to ride in a truck with this setup to see how the ride is. My commute is on some busted hwy roads and i could see it being a rough ride. 5.5" in the back puts it damn close to the frame. And not going to notch this bish
Going up is really more practical atleast around here. Plus its not like its a 6" kit where i would have so much labor to reverse to drop it if i ever decide to do so.
picked these up for $800...little curb rash but plan on getting these powder coated the FX grey anyway.
Debated back and forth on whether to go with a 4" spindle from maxtrac with a 305/55XL Nitto G2 on my stock 20's or find a set of these and just run the 2.5" level i already have sitting around with 305/45r22 Hankook Dynapro's. Have seen similar setups with 1.5" spacers all around that gives it a nice stance. The powdered wheel will give it the unique, yet OEM look i was aiming for.
Unfortunately this gen of f150's are known to have undersized brakes. After turning the rotors once as a bandaid i went ahead and jumped on these after reading reviews on multiple setups http://www.stage3motorsports.com/K6268-2012-F150-2WD-4WD-Power-Stop-Full-Brake-Kit-6-Lug-Only.html
Will put these on along with the 2.5" level hopefully in the next few weeks.
Limited 22's are still awaiting powdercoat.
