2013 F-150 FX2 SuperCrew

Sharp truck. If I were in the market for a newer half ton it would be a ford no doubt. I'd do a mild drop 2/4 or so if it were mine. Have you looked into the Boss intake manifolds? That along with a 5 Star tune would wake that thing up a ton.

^^ I am with him. Supposedly have buyer of mine come end of year. Do want a ford. Pricey than the rest, but seem to be really nice. Of course I would go white and prolly level on 33s

White or silver for me on 35's. Slick trucks for sure.

Have seen threads on guys doing this but wasnt planning on making it into race trok. Already pretty fast in stock form imo. A tune still adds ~40hp and 35tq. 2/4 does look clean imo.

After test driving both ford and nnbs, it was a no brainer. The 5.3 just didnt feel all that great compared to the 5.0. Interior trumps nnbs along with the rebates and amount of truck you get for the price. 30,xxx for exactly what i wanted opposed to having to go up to an ltz/slt package that was 6-7k more if you could have gotten them down that low. 100% satisfied with my purchase.

Also found out i can get a tune from one of the more notable tuners for these trucks for $55. Fkn steal imo, especially since i got my SCT tuner for half price

Well decided to go ahead and tune my truck with the preloaded SCT Tunes. You can make quite a few adjustments, i was actually surprised. The only things i changed was shift firmness and made the necessary adjustments for my gear ratio/tire size/etc. It did make a difference in throttle response and 0-60 for sure. Shifts are firm and will chirp 2nd. It does seem to lose top end in 4th so im hoping a custom tune will help out a little bit.

Probably will see a slight mileage increase as well but will take some time to see those numbers.

After getting a revised tune from SCT to turn the cooling fans off from running all the time, i ran it for a couple days. I dont like how it downshifts 3-2-1 unlike stock which goes 3-1. This caused a lurching when downshifting which i found undesirable and just felt wrong. Made my truck "burp" in a sense when hitting 2nd for a second then eventually downshifting to 1st. SCT didnt sound like they would fix the issue so custom it is.

Placed an order with MPT for 87 performance tune. Im sure i wont be disappointed.

Nice weather to clean the bird shit off

Rear needs to come down about another inch but not sure how to go about it. Kinda running out of ideas to do. They have an ebay set of cleared headlights but not sure if i want to deal with them. HID's maybe but they seem so cliche arround here, may find a nice set of halogens.
I did order some PTM inlays for my fender badges. Just need to dip the chrome surrounds black. Other than that its a nice clean DD.
Economy tune coming soon for future road trips this summer.

Looks good grant! I'd still do HIDS. Just do 5 or 6k. I've actually been thinkin of doing 6's to replace my 8's

Just can't pass up the deal you get on custom tuning through MPT when using the discount code. Had some spare money in my paypal account that i forgot i had so pulled the trigger on their economy tune. Hopefully it results in a nice bump in mpg for my road trip to Austin,TX next weekend.

I know the platinums come with an option for HID in a projector on the newer models. maybe that is an option for you, I think they'd look good on that color.

It was an option when i was buying my truck but it put me out of the price range i was willing to pay. They have a few retrofit vendors out there but they want entirely too much for what im wanting to pay. OEM's are going for $900 at the cheapest.

I'd just buy a factory set and replace the bulbs with some 5/6k hid bulbs IMO

Only way is if get them for a steal, cant see dropping that kinda coin
I saw this bumped and I thought you snagged those NIB 22" Welds

:okay:

Although wouldve been badass, im not messing with the suspension anytime soon so they wouldve just sat. Not gunna run an MT either so wasnt sure how theyd look with such a small AT tire.

New project. Already have the PTM vinyl overlays for the emblems. Just going to plastidip the outer chrome to black. May eventually go with painted but my way is a lot cheaper and will do for now.

Not my truck pictured
