Small updates...

truck was broke into last week, nav unit is gone. insurance is buying me a new one, so I plan to get another JVC, the NT310 this time around ( I had a 300 ). Need to get my new front window tinted, clear is weird, also going to do probably 5% over the rear windows - I've been wanting to do that for a while anyway.

The LED bar is in,



I also have ordered some more 5K LED strips for doing the HVAC and 4x4 switch, about half of those bulbs are burnt out.

Do yourself and look into another brand nav unit. You won't regret it. I would stick with pioneer or alpine. Heck even check out the sony units. They have come a long way.

The JVC I had in the truck was awesome. there is nothing bad I could say about it at all. booted up super fast, read a 16gig usb stick almost instantly, nav worked great, sound was awesome. Plus I don't really like how most of the other brand units look. I had a few pioneers before this one and they weren't anything special.

I fully agree with this message. Im just waiting on the word that the insurance check has been sent to order the HU and get the tint setup.

I know. only the headunit, cb radio was right there, left that, all my fishing stuff in the back seat just sitting there, left it. oh well. im glad I don't have to replace any of that stuff haha.

Well this was awesome, windshield cracked about 12" long from top over to pass corner. Super.

My LEDs did come in for starting on swapping the rest of my dash over. Going to do the HVAC and 4x4 switch, might have enough left over for the headlight switch.

HVAC and 4x4 switch are now LED. Plenty bright.

New headunit showed up yesterday, might work on installing that tonight.

Got the replacement window tinted today at lunch, so im back behind darkness. Also going to look into putting something over the back windows to make it a cave inside. Cant decide if I should do 20 or 5 over it. I have a backup camera so im not worried about seeing out at night.

5% over the back. No sense going any lighter, even over factory tint.

That's kinda how I feel. Unfortunitly Im stuck at 35% on the front doors. I really don't feel like getting hassled about it, its really depends on what streets your on and which cop is out, they all have different feelings about tint. Sucks, cant wait to move so I can get dark front windows and no front plate.
