Today started off at 59 degrees at 7 am, by the time to go home at 4pm it was 49 degrees. Handy little thing is now my seats warm up and oh how glorious it is. Maybe Im getting old or I just hate the cold that much but good god, heated seats are the best things ever. I will post a picture of my switches tomorrow in the sun light. I ended up cannibalizing my 12v outlets in the center console, since i never use them anyway.
Then next week it goes in to get the front seal on the trans replaced. Boooo!!

Hey bumpin this thread what led tails do you have that the whole light flashes instead of just a few rows?
fix it the right way. hell i might even know a guy that has the patch panel for it.
They are from ebay, i can find the seller, but the whole light flashes when signalling.

the stupid PO442 code came back, but hasnt shown back up yet, perfect timing since the truck needs plates this month, which requires a stupid emissions test. Hopefully the code is gone when it gets tested.

Had the same code and replaced the evap canister. I thought it would work, but it came back. I had my tuner turn off all the evap codes and it passed just fine :rofl:
St. Louis County. ONLY place left in the WHOLE. DAMN. STATE. that does the testing. Now its even more retarded, they have to take a photo of your engine bay, submit it to Jefferson City so they can approve the test, showing you dont have a motor swapped in. Its so dumb and a WASTE of $24.
I have replaced the evap canister, then it went into PO440 code for minor leak, then the temps warmed up and the light went away. Now that its cooled off, its back. I here there is a little filter vent thing near the top of the filler that is also an issue with that code and last winters polar vortexs were killing them.
wow that sucks. I just walked in to inspection place. gave him a $20 bill with a piece of paper with my vin written on it. he filled out the form and handed me the inspection sticker. never even pulled it in the garage lolol
Well it passed safety and emissions testing with the cracked windshield and the random 442 code, which oddly enough, hasnt shown up since before the inspection ( now that i have posted this it will be on when i leave work )
I did however break down and finally got tired of staring at the ugly ass factory overlay. I really like the white SS style gauges but my truck is slow so thats a no good. I ordered the US Speedo Escalade cluster/bezel/needles this morning. Pretty excited about that, that cluster is super cool. Hopefully it looks good all white as well.

I got a 20% off coupon from Auto Anything so it wasnt that bad. That stupid bezel is 80 bucks from dorman, and i paid 190 for the cluster, needles and bezel. Feel pretty good about that price. Only thing i didnt notice was that the speed is in 20mph increments, and i didnt notice that until it was pointed out on a forum.
i hate the 20mph increments and the slanted font they use on the esky clusters. would bother me to look at. dfw just the bezel and needles though on my cluster
