06 GMC Build - I guess????

So the front pump seal is leaking and the truck marks its territory now, so gotta get that fixed. Bummer.

As far as mods go, finally have new tires, got the Cooper Discovery ATP from discount tire. Pretty happy with them so far, might even break that 20mpg mark for highway too, the tach runs 150 rpm fewer now.

And my heated seat kit shows up today. As long as its installed by October, I should be good to go. Still havent fixed my cracked windshield or over tinted my back windows, need to see where I can buy some quality tint on a roll from.

I like my Cooper Discoverer AT3's I have on my winter wheels. They haven't let me down in rain or snow yet, so you should be happy with them this winter.

I've been in 2 pretty good rain storms with them so far and its great being able to stop in a controlled fashion now. Really curious how well they will do in the snow and mud.

Planning on attacking atleast one of the seats this coming weekend, we willl see how much of a pain in the ass it is. if it doesnt take too long i'll do the other one. I also want to find another cig lighter to mod for my center console, to put the switches in.

So heres the plan for switches now. my console looks like this

The LED bar switch is in a cut up cig lighter outlet. My new idea is this, move the bar switch back to the lower pocket, driver side switch goes into the cig lighter, i move the 12V outlet into the console, get another cig lighter to modify and put it in the 12V location, and toss the pass. side switch in there. That way each side is on the right side of the console, and everything is kinda clean.

Sounds like a good plan. I love where my switches are but you have the 4wd there lol.

Quick question about your radio, do you know the difference between the KW-NT310 and the KW-NT300? The 300 is almost $60 cheaper but I can't find anything different about it.

Yes the 4wd fills that slot well haha. Its really only the good spot for switches in the NBS

To answer your radio question, since I have/had both, i cant find the difference either haha! Nav seems the same, speed is the same, audio is the same, display is just about the same.hell even the harness is the same, i didnt even need to rewire anything, I just plugged it in and went to town. Still super pleased with it.

For different model #s you would think something is different about them. Plan to order one of them in the next week or so.

The voice during navigation, does it stop the music or just lower the volume?

It lowers the volume, or you can straight up turn it off like i did. :) The lane assist nav is cool too, it shows a picture of the exit and what lane you should be in. Suuposed to also have 3D buildings in major cities as well, but since i never go to our ghetto I cant tell you about it.

Oh i did think of a difference, i think my 300 had a map from 2011 and the 310 i have now has a map from 2012.

To be honest, Im not sure if you can or not. I have found mine to be very accurate though in my travels. I use the nav on a pretty regular basis going to clients homes.

One step closer to heated seats, got the passenger side mat installed this weekend. Going to do the drivers side this weekend ( maybe during the week ) and then figure out where/how im going to wire them.

yeah, and kitty likes to bite so it wont be fun for anyone.

All I gotta do now is power then. They want a 10amp constant power, I want to find a 10amp ignition on source. Anyone have any ideas? With it only needing a 10 amp circuit I plan to just tap in somewhere and fuse them separately.
