That looks like a wide tire, mounted on a skinny factory rim. Looks like center wore out from improper fitment to me.

I sell BFGs on a weekly basis, we usually get 1000-140,000km on a set of 4.

MArc, Them wheel spacers look pretty decent
 
your saying that because of the skinny factory rim on a 12 inch tire causes the centers to balloon out more than if they were on a wider wheel? you see 80k miles out of a set, didnt think they were that hard of a compound.

Yeah, my dad got ~60k miles out of his using it as a highway commuter in the summer and plow truck/commuter in the winter, i dont mind them, and he had them on 16x8s instead of the stocks
 
Yah Geoff that's exactly what i mean. They ballon out and cause center wear. 2 things will do that, to wide of a tire, and to much pressure. Your facotry 7 or 7.5" rims are far to skinny to get good wear from a wide tire

I wish I had leather when I left my windows down during a storm. I had to deal with the stinch of mold for months, still hangs around. I need to replace the carpet/insulation and hurry up with the leather swap :crazy:

My two door Tahoe had that smell. Hated it. The back glass had been knocked out prior to me buying it and the back carpet got wet. I wish I knew that when I bought the damn thing.

Its awesome. I drove the cc yesterday for the first time, and sure enough I found driving like a total dick. I jsut cant help it, 9psi of boost, slammed with sway bars makes it a fun drive. I dont find it relaxing, i feel stressed out when I get home lol.

This old slow 4.8 is great
 
thanks for the compliments .....now question should i keep these chrome and just eccept that they are a little pitted, or get them poweder coated one day, or throw on some plastidip ?
