You got rid of at least one of the ferds for it?
nope. if i was smart i probably would have gotten rid of the ranger, but i didnt. dads going to be driving the ranger all winter. when he retired him and mom swapped vehicles so the truck will be better then the focus. after im settled after my move and im in a place i can bring my truck, ill just bring the deezul down and he can do whatever he wants with the ranger. I'm not worried about him driving through the winter, but with me and my sister both gone now, and my mom at work full time still, i would just rather him be in a truck than a shitty focus. just imo though.
thanks man. its been in a pain in the ass unfortunately so far. been chasing a cel for an o2 sensor. the dealer is taking care of it from there pocket though, but we havent gotten it fixed fully yet. and yesterday i was on the highway and the rear end started howling and a bad vibration. turned out the wheel was loose, sheered a stud right off and the rest of the lugs were loose enough i could turn them by hand.. so hopefully they will fix that to. other than that i love the car. the standard is kicking my ass though
tint, coilovers, Ti exhaust, down pipe, tune...done!
its not a turbo, unfortunately. but from a commuter standpoint and being easy to work on its going to be cheaper and easier to work on. i would have loved a turbo car, but insurance and maintenance wasnt worth it to me. i have a turbo truck already. that being said, tint, coils, and exhaust will be done soon. and then ill be starting to stock pile parts for the diesel. as far as this car goes, its got 142k on it but it looks like its got 50k on it. brand new water pump, head gaskets, timing belt, and a couple o2 sensors in the last 10k. tires are brand new, and all i need to do is swap the stereo out of the ranger so i can plug in my phone and then just get more comfortable with the standard tranny. I thought about going with a more rally look to it. but i think itll get coils and go a bit lower.
