I see the snowmageddon didn't hit you too bad lol

Yeah, DNW. My 85 had them. They don't open well, they don't seal well and they have that little flapper up front to deflect air when open and it molds all around that. Truck looks great Brandon, only thing I hate about those later ones are the mirrors. The OBS style looks odd on an OOBS. Does it have a body lift?
8k on one oil change sounds like the culprit lol
Srs tho that's nuts. I have no idea what it would be

I should have been a little more clear on that, I'll fix my post. Last change I ran 10k on Amsoil XL and had zero issues. Used the same oil and same filter this time ant the OLM just reached 10% at 7.5k. I know some consumption is normal, but not that much on a motor with less than 45k on it.How long do you usually go on an oil change dean? I usually go 7500 on my truck, was so busy I actually went 8200 last time and it was 2 qts low when I checked it at 7900. My old truck was always 1 qt low at oil change time (same 7500 miles too). Pretty sure that's normal

Sure does, and my fear as that it's related to that, especially since its out of warranty now.Ahhh I gotcha. Yeah that sucks. Does your truck have AFM?

I'm trying not to jump to any conclusions yet, just hoping it's something small and no damage, especially since this is motor #2Damn that sucks dude. Hope it isn't that or at least there's minimal damage. But if so, cam time lol

I know afm can affect it really quickly though, my mom's nnbs avy burned alot of oil in a short period of time due to afm. They had to do quite a bit of engine work to fix it.If it was AFM related you'd probably have felt it running differently. Mines been acting up lately because of it

That was their initial thought whenever we took it in. Said it could be a sensor or pickup tube. I would seriously hope there is no damage to the rings or anything else, but then again I didn't really notice a difference when the old motor was basically running on 7. I've been working with Eddie on the oil and my change intervals and haven't had any issues until now.I know when when the oil pressure switch goes out or the screen inside gets clogged up it'll display the reduce engine power till its fixed. Think the rings have gone bad? I change mine when I get to 25% oil life. Which is about 5-5500k
Post whatever the issue is when u find outI'm trying not to jump to any conclusions yet, just hoping it's something small and no damage, especially since this is motor #2
