Welding in some slip on outer rockers. Should last another year or two if I'm lucky

Welded the seam along the top and ends and plug welded in between the stamped "bullets" along the bottom edge. Little bit of body filler then some etching primer and bed coating.

Fender was hammered with rock chips and starting to rust so I bed lined a couple inches up it. I'll probably follow this line along the whole side of the truck. Lots of rock chips down low and the drivers rear door needs a repair on the bottom anyways.

Passenger side of the truck is going to be just as much fun

How difficult was it to install the slip on? My drivers side rocker is crushed from running over a boulder was wondering what's involved since I'll never be able to afford to take it somewhere to have t replaced

Really isn't tough at all if you have experience with welding and body work.
Just a bit time consuming with how big the patch is though. And of course if you wanted to paint it properly that's more work in itself

Picked up a set of 2011 ltz hd rims in rough shape with Toyota open country ATs.

Stripped the clear coat from them, scotchbrited the oxidization and pitting as much as I had patience for then used a power cone and almost a whole tube of autosol.

Far from show quality but I'm happy considering how much I paid for the set. Ordered some adapters just waiting for those now.
