My new build - Need help with ideas 2001 GMC Sierra 1500

just get 6 t-10 1/4 I think twist locks and whatever 194 5 led leds you want. super simple, takes 10 minutes if that. just make sure you have a battery charger ready because you need to have your vehicle in first to get it out and you have to have the key in

Finished building the console itself and built the sub box, next i just have to upholster it, run wiring and bolt it to the seat frame. then I finally haz le boom boom.

Yeah, that and im going to put an inch of foam on the top of the console under the fabric

Got the console bolted to the seat frame, and test hooked up everything, threw some 6x9s in the back of the console, got sub and amp working. all i have to do tomorrow is take it all apart, and make it more permanent ie. liquid nails, then fabric it and fin.

Different for sure. This man likes his tunes! I thought for sure you would do a behind-the-seat solution.

Any reason why you made it ported, and more specifically towards the front?

I think it looks good, but my friends would probably always be throwing garbage in the port hole lol

I am assuming it was easier to build the port forward and get the correct port length for the tuning. Normally these trucks like port to drivers side, sub forward. But every setup is different. I like this, other than it screaming steal me to anyone who looks in the window.
