Hell I guess you do go 80 with those mud brutes haha. Ur at 2200rpm at 80mph. I'm at 2200rpm at 64mph lol. I'd def run 4.30 at least on ur truck. 4.56 if it were mine. Speed limit here is 70
Like I mentioned before. In a 25 mile interstate trip, you save TWO minutes between going 65 vs 75mph. To me it's just not that critical. I'll set the cruise at 65 and watch you pass and pull up right behind you when u get there lol.
But if you have to go 80, you should run 4.10 and even 4.30 wouldn't be bad at all with those tires.
My tires are much smaller.
I drive 80% city and gas mileage and fun both increase with 4.30s in my truck. And it helps the 4.8 surprise people off the line and at the track.

Lol they're nitto 420s right now, actually getting new tires today. Same size just different tires. I really want a 4.30 in mine but I have a 14 bolt out back and can't find anything but 4.10 and 4.56 for it. I also did an 80e swap so overdrive is different

Yea 80e overdrive is .75 vs the 60e with .7. In that case, go 4.10.

Mine is 2wd with torsion bars lol. It's a weird truck. Came with a 65e too. The 4wd vmax came with 4.10s as did the SSS, but 2wd all have 3.73 lol

Oh ok I gotcha. Pretty sweet tho that it's got the 14 bolt. Perfect start for a racetruck since u already did 80e swap. But yet 4.10 and truetrac will really make it move

Yea, when u hit the a/c button and the clutch engages, you should see both fans come on low

Boy am I pissed off. One of the damn lines that I got is wrong. The diagram was incorrect on ebay. Now I have one side done, and I can't drive my only method of transportation because I received the wrong damn line. And I'm gonna call around tomorrow but it seems highly unlikely that an auto parts store will have it.
