Ok.. gotta get rollin' on this build. More later gents.

Ordered
-Red Powder coated Powerstop Calipers [I got sick of spraying mine, screw this]
-Drilled / Slotted Rotors
MGP Red Caliper Covers - GMC

:datass:

This will not slow down build, but I will probably not mount new rims / tires until they are installed.

Not finished by any means, but rolling yes. I am behind on a few things though.
My gf is getting anxious. lol

Wasted a lot of time last night fooling around with driveline and swaybar.
Also wasted a lot of time cleaning and prepping calipers only to have some contaminant still on some of the surface, screwing up the paint..

So I Ragequit and just ordered some powder coated calipers, covers and rotors to match.
I waste a lot of hard labor on trivial things sometimes..

you still havent lifted the rear yet right?

not that theres a lot to do with that lol

Correct, still got the rear to do although it will not take me all day to do that. It's all apart, just need to jack it, get some separation, and install the blocks. I will be using the lift blocks, + the extra blocks I purchased.

I DO need to figure out the ride height before installing the torsion keys. I am hoping it will be obvious, but I will probably through a wheel on there just for good measure.

Busting ass tonight.

- Calipers are red, touched them up. Good enough until Prostops arrive.
- 2nd topcoat on torsion bars, they will be dry tomorrow afternoon and ready for install
- 2nd topcoat on Torsion bar cross member, also ready to go same time.
- Painted Transmission support crossmember since working in that area.

As usual, it will smooth as it dries. Thick / Sticky stuff!

Dropped out the transmission bracket and loosened up the mount on the transfer case to get some slack in the transmission cable.
The Cognito bracket has a steep approach angle and if using the stock cable position, puts the 6spd into neutral when the shifter is in the park position.

I bolted up the bracket, tightened down the clamps and made certain no cables would come near the driveline.
I will adjust the cable tension tomorrow and make certain it is back into park when done.

The cv driveline was a snap to lift into place aftewards, sliding back into the original boot [F&R clips need to be undone]
I'll inspect it first thing in the morning and then tighten the boot back on and torque everything back into place.

Old bracket on the right.
