I had been thinking about getting some led headlights for a while but just hadn't pulled the trigger yet. Well a bulb burn out on me monday, so i promptly ordered these.

i opted to go with these since they have great reviews and they come with reverse polarity adapters and load capacitors in case you need them. I did end up needing the reverse polarity adapters. Here's some pics from install.

i got the adjustment tweaked in last night and i'm pleased with the outcome. I'll get some pics on the road tonight showing the true output.

I've had a BL sitting in garage since last spring, will probably still be sitting there till next spring. Really need to bite the bullet on some opt7 but hate spending that kinda cash on lights

Bumping for info on the plasti dip you used on the wheels. How has it held up? Prep work easy?

It's held up OK so far. There's really nothing to prep other than making sure they are clean. I did mine while they were on the truck, but I think it ended up causing some runs that bubbled up after it all cured. If I were to do it again, I'd take them off of the truck and lay them flat on the ground. Another thing to note is that they get dirty with brake dust really easily and it doesn't want to come clean.

Ok. I'll put sealant on it. Considering getting the bright aluminum kit. Can't afford to buy new wheels lol.

Want to give this a little bump. I finally got my finances back on track to where I can actually save money for some wheels. Work has picked up quite a bit, making for more OT and I convinced my lady to keep all the extra money set aside for new wheels and tires. I got quoted $950 installed with road hazard for some 285/70R17 Toyo AT2, so I'll probably stick with those. Still bouncing between two different wheels (AR901 in PVD or Machined Method Standards), but leaning more towards the methods. I'm hoping to have something purchased within the next month or two. Here's a quick shop of both wheels.
