Have had a popping sound from my front end lately, only at very slow speeds and turning on an uneven surface. Or just while sitting still and cutting the wheels back and forth. It's just like a hollow popping noise. I can put my hand on the tie rod and feel it somewhat. What would this be?
Jack up truck and grab the top of the wheel and shake it towards and away from you to check for any play.
No play that way, but pushing the tire on the sides (as in left and right) and it has some slack. Truck feels really "floaty" too
I'd vote inner tie rods. Tony's truck was doing the same thing, we just replaced his inners and outers

Yeah gonna start with tie rods I think. Lol aaron now that you say that I couldn't either in my nbs.
You guys bunch of pussehs, could still 1 hand my 285 in both the nbs and the obs with a 13" grant wheel, the 35x14.5s took some effort to turn tho
Mine nbs was extremely hard to turn while sitting still, Denali is easy, all handsfree Bluetooth steering control
