06 GMC Build - I guess????

Wow those liners look good. For that price I may consider investing in some

Me too, just curious how much they would need to be cut up for the notches/ helpers. :hmm:

Only thing that really bothers me about them is now there is a purple bolt in the middle of them haha

Take bolt off, hit it with a wire wheel, spray satin black, reinstall. Prawfit.

Well you can see how much they overhang, pretty easy to tell how much would need to be cut.

I bought 2 pairs. I've been slacking on making some filler pieces for the ext cabs bodylift, and slacking a on painting the fenderwells on the dirtymax so this will take care of that.

truck looks good so far. For the love of our sanity do not put chrome stick on handles on that truck. do it right with a set from rockauto or ebay and paint the shell of the handles. what bed cover is that? I may have missed that info. Oh and drive to TX and swap interiors with me :secretshake:

edit*

interstate for the loss. Optima redtop is where it's at :security:

Ever since optima sold out and started making the batteries in Mexico they turned to shit. I'd buy an autozone battery before I bought an optima now.

If I can find the full chrome handles I'll go with them. Don't you worry. The tonneau is a Sportsman something or anything. its alright, it was cheap. I really want a extang. They are waaaay nicer.

Only way I'd swap interiors is if yours is tan.

Word to this. I had a red top in my other trucks but when this battery died I had read how they had fallen to crap. Honestly this interstate has been great and its got a hell of a warrrenty.

I has tan cloth interior :secretshake: and my Optima has been good to me so far *knock on wood* and I leave the truck on acc. for hours with the stereo playing and it cranks right up.

Thanks dudes, I still havnt washed it yet O_O

Anyway, I did remove 2 more halogen bulbs from it today...

Switchbacks for the signals are next and a modified version of the DRL delete with turn signal mod if I can do what I want.

You going to keep drl but have it be a turn signal? I did drl to marker/turn and with 6hi looks sweet with entire front end lit up

Looks good man, take some real pics of it :read:

Or just send me your camera equipment

I will try soon....supposed to go deer hunting/fishing this weekend. I'll have the SLR out for once so I will work on that. Plus it wont be boring city backdrops.

What Id like to do, if I can figure it out, is make the DRL go bye bye, and have the DRL turn into a marker light, so it comes on with the other bulb, then have the turn signal be a switch back that will flop back and forth to orange, the the drl bulb would stay a constant white.

That actually shouldn't be too hard to do, just do the normal DRL/marker light mod but leave the turn signal wire going to just the OE signal spot instead of running it to both bulbs

And truck keeps looking better, I have LED DRLs in mine too and they're great. I'll be doing the DRL/marker mod to mine in the spring once it warms up

Ah. I used NNBS tail light sockets on my drl hole, don't know if checy and gmc have different socket. Takes some wiggling to get out but not to bad. I just gooped dieletric grease in the drl sockets and zip tied them back and yanked the fuse out

That's kinda what I was thinking I would do. I think it'd look neat at night all white up front, then just half of it lit orange to turn.

It annoys me soooo much all the new cars/trucks with LED running lights that turn off when the signal comes on. I want to not do that with mine.

Now that you say that, I do think it would look good. That annoys me too, it has turned me away from wanting basically any new car with the LED running lights after I saw that
