Thanks. Its a good DD. gas tank on E requires less than $40 to fill up. Just trying to lightly mod it to stay DD friendly so we can buy fiance a new car. The G is gettin old and with all the hit and runs and rock chips causing the hood to peel is making it look horrid. Thought bout taking the G and keeping it as my DD and fixing it up but since its paid off it will make a real nice trade in on a car even with the body damage to it.

thanks fellas. I'll probably paint it this summer. I went to harbor freight last night and bought a new paint gun and I have all the paint I just need the time and patience to do it..that's ALOT of work to reprint my truck because I plan to powder coat some of my suspension while I'm at it. I just don't know what color to PC it. I do all my own work.

and lol Jared I just don't get on anymore. nobody talks to me except Joey, Tony, and James.. well sometime Md Pate when his instagram posts do better work on me than a Viagra

So it's actual paint not dip? how did you prep the chrome?

I just noticed I got autocorrected on re-paint*

and no I dipped that. but last weekend I color matched the bumpers on my buddy's truck. Chrome isn't as hard as people make it out to be..just several series of sandpape, etching primer (for rattle can jobs), then paint. ita just time consuming. I do all my work by hand too. I don't use power/air tools except for the gun. you can always text me for pics and whatnot. just PM me for info since I rarely visit here anymore

I stripped my chrome bumpers with a grinder, primed and blocked it. holding up damn good, I did it 3 years ago and it have very few chips. the grill i just sanded with a da and primed, it chipped where the hood hit it closing the first day, but hasnt chipped any more in 3 years.

This truck is old man gold. Im doing hexis frozen grey matte. In order to do a photoshoot, Id have tyo actually drive my rcsb, and remove it from the hoist.
