Removing moldings, but not the silverado logo. Had those redone in matte black, so I'm keeping em.

Good idea, the sides look to plain with nothing there, the black silverado ties in everything else nicely, especially when the moldings will be removed.

dude should have gotten anodized purple powder, that shit looks fucking awesome.

this is candy purple powder. ended up getting it done for free because he had this color left over from another job and I spent about 2 hours helping him sand down a prostreet frame that he's coating.

I don't like where he hung them up because the hooks left little bare places about the size of pen tip, but thats really my fault since I didn't tell him not to hang it any certain way. they're covered and no more worries like I had with the paint, so I'm good to go. I'll just touch up paint that area and run them.

Lol I basically did the same thing..I went from just shackles to 5/8

Same here. Picked up with shackles then went straight to 4-5/8-9 (anytime i measured it was between 4-5" up front and 8-9" out back)
