I’ve always said a leveled truck is best. A bunch of my friends have had lifted trucks and it’s more of a pain than it’s worth. I can’t crank my Dmax any more, so I’m going to get a 3” lift and just keep it low. I just want the front up a touch higher to get it sitting right and clear 35s.

Yep. And preferably OEM wheel. I only want another inch out of my Dmax but angles are already as far as I’m comfortable. Gonna do the LML wheels with the old bolt pattern to get rid of the spacers and 35s

Yall are getting old too fast. We have plenty of time to be old, let's not accelerate it lol.
I love the look of a lifted truck, I've always had one, im sure I always will. Just how much depends on the amount of usage. I think I'm at the point of a 6" and 35s is all I'd go on a daily driven truck for 10-15k a year.
Anything above that is reserved for a fun/weekend truck. That's 8-12" territory and at that point you get to a minimum of x12 and 37s and that starts to wear shit out.
My 6.0 is at 8" and 22x12 and 37s and I guess it's a happy medium. However if I weren't geared in 4.56 I'd probably go to a 6" and 35s, x10. But 35s get small looking real quick on these trucks, and 4-6" looks ok with x10 but if I put an x10 on my truck now it would not look right imo. I also think I'm done with 22s on a daily driver. Tires are expensive and I'd prefer to have a little more tire a 20" is a good compromise
X12 still gives a deep lip and nice look, but isnt as aggressive on front end components as a 14 wide, of course it isnt as good on them as a 10 wide but that's life.
My buddy offered me a pair of 6" fabtech springs that he literally put on his truck 3 months ago and is taking them for 4" icons. I might have them powdered and take him up on the deal.
