Your vehicles as they sit now!

Yeah, it’s crazy man. Hard to believe it’s been that long too, seems like it all happened so fast. I lost/sold everything and did all I could to make it work. In the end, it wasn’t doing anyone any good to stay together. Did ok when I sold the house, now just working on rebuilding

Thanks man, I’m getting there.

In that picture it was. Then I sold those 22s, bought Tony’s 20s off his CC and dropped it 4/4

What's your guys opinion on power stop calipers. I have z36 powerstop rotors on my truck now, but it is cheaper to buy the entire powerstop caliper assembly than to buy caliper bracket and slide pin alone.
Nothing wrong with my calipers now, but figure I might as well as long as they are reliable.

I have a set on my Yukon and my wife managed to warp the rotors. Im not sure whos fault it is but yep. Going back to stock. The calipers look like painted factory units. Yes, painted.

These are them. They have runs in the paint like they were rattle canned.

Can’t comment on calipers but I warped my power stop rotors IMMEDIATELY on my old CC. I won’t ever put powerstop on a truck again. No complaints when I had them on my Cobra, but it’s like there’s not enough material to the rotors for a heavy truck

Did brakes on the work truck after I got it because there were no ebrakes, literally, cables just chillin, not shoes or backing plate.
3 out of four calipers were totally shot, last was grabbing on one side only, and all the rotors were warped and rusty. Looked at powerstop but had heard their stuff was basically painted oem.
Pieced together my own kit with rock auto and napa stuff. Went with some rotors that were supposed to be specially coated and weren’t gonna rust. We’ve had a dryish warm winter so I don’t know how they’re doing but I have around 8k and no complaints.
Iirc the calipers were all napa, pads all raybestos, and the rotors were the durago electrophoretic coated. Got everything but the calipers on rockauto.

I have all powerstops on the Burb, have for 15,000ish miles. Calipers are just coated sticks but I like the red and they weren’t much more than black. I have the towing pads, have had a few panic stops and still no warping. Suburban is right at 6000 pounds and my Racelines and 295s are about 100 pounds a corner do it’s definitely not light weight

Powerstop rotors and pads on the f150 for ~30k miles now. No complaints on their performance. Little surface rust on rotors but no big deal for me.
Finally warm enough to take the yak out. Evidence of Corona Virus in DFW :cheeky:

Been a minute, but sold the Duramax in June of 2019, picked up this 2014 Sierra All Terrain up. Lowered 4/6 Trekline from Kristina Ash. No notch currently on 285/45/22 OE wheels. Ceramic tint, ceramic coated, upgraded to 2018+ Denali Tails and Denali Headlights, snagged a Denali grille and swapped the painted surround from my All Terrain. Put a set of theretrofitsource XLB fogs. Truck currently is tuned, Airaid tube w/ drop in filter, UPR catch can. Waiting to install American Racing 1-7/8" headers and 3" exhaust, new plugs and wires, and the L86 ported intake and Katech ported throttle body.

Well another one has come and gone. I loved this truck and planned to keep it for the long haul. I got an offer on a ride that I really think will keep me happy for a long time, so I sold this one to my buddy in town and am going to get back into a car payment. I will get to see the Yukon be modded and he is a car guy so it will be taken care of. It happened pretty fast, but hopefully this opportunity works out and it will be the right move.
