Got bored while the kids were playing and it was nice today so I did the roof rack delete. I like it overall. Just put a dab of silicone on the stock bolts and put them back in but they stick up so far, it’s bugging the shit out of me. Trying to decide if I wanna find some plugs to go into the nutserts in the roof, drill out the nutserts and put plugs that’ll be real low profile or just go ahead and weld up the holes.
I’ll probably drill out the nutserts, weld up the holes and get some of that “perfect match” spray paint.
This is how far the nutserts stick up, not bad but noticeable

Took the intros off and put some oem Escalade 22s on the truck. Same Toyo proxes 3 285/40r22 tires
My dad's work truck, used to have a nice set of Welds on it. Rust is killing it though.

Liked the looks of hucks roof rack delete. So I did it yesterday. Went today and picked up some set screws. Gonna set them in a little and put some silicone over the top for extra insurance. Last pic is compared to the rack bolt
