I was on a back road, came up on a curve that a minivan was in the middle of. Swerved to the edge of the road and smacked a pothole/missing asphalt pretty hard. Only felt a slight shake at first, so headed on home. Noticed fluid leaking when I got out and found all of that. Strut busted at the weld and rim is bent on the inner lip. Not sure of any other damage since I can't drive it anywhere. So fucking pissed right now. At least the strut might be a warranty thing.
Tire is fine actually. It's the wheel that I'm concerned about. Already talked to Kris and she thinks the strut should be warranty because of where it broke at, I just need to get in touch with belltech.

upon further inspection thats the mounting point of the strut, i thought it was a plate in between. Disregard.

What spacer? There are no spacers installed. The strut is mounted directly to the LCA and upper strut mounts. That picture is with the wheel off and no weight on it.

:rofl: just hoping I can get it all sorted out soon. Going to have to call insurance in the morning. Pretty sure its at least a $500 deductible, so not worth going through them.
