Another truck ive been following since it was stock lol. Very nice truck!!

I also have heard that the truck will ride better on control arms and spindles rather than struts. .

Local shop wants $400 to put my 5/7 on. Yay or nay?

Really up to you man. If you can't do it yourself or with friends and can afford the $400 then do it man. A shop around here wanted $1100 to do my 4/7 so a friend and I tackled putting mine on.

Yea do it, mine cost 400 and that was my friend doing it. All shops in town charged atleast 800

Your friend own a shop or trying to get rich? Lol my boy did mine with some help from me from me for pizza, beer, and to be able to say he had dropped more than one NNBS.

Well I got a friend who's a mechanic at the local dealership. He does a lot of work on the side and is putting new rotors and pads on my truck next weekend. He said he knows he can do the arms and struts, but working in his yard, he's not sure if he could do the flip without having the truck in the air.

I'm gonna have him look at the kit once i get it and see what all he can do. If its not possible, I'll take it to that shop.

Sooo my shopping list for the 5/7 is:

4" arms
Adj struts
Flip kit
Belltech SP shocks
New tires (245/70R17)

Anything else?

He can do the flip without it in the air. We did mine with just a jack and jack stands.

It's got 265s on it now. Previous owner put cheap ass shit-terrain tires on it. One is bald anyways so may as well get correct size now.

My motivation to lower just sky rocketed. Saw a lowered rcsb at the car wash so I stopped to talk with him. It was actually the first static nnbs I've seen in real life. Dude was really cool. Truck was gorgeous. Had Texas plates. Prolly RGV if I had to guess by context clues.

Sorry for shitty pic. Didn't wanna look like a creeper pulling away.

He said its 4/7 with helpers. Truck was burgundy with silver at the bottom. Color matched interior trim.

I'm pretty fucking excited about this now.

Interesting choice on the silver at the bottom, def not for me. Lol.

Crazy that's the first lowered NNBS in person you've seen. Between me and my friends here there are 3 of us with them lol

Get to ordering some parts
