What tires & size would be good for a 4/6 drop & stock 16's on my RCSB? Looking for a sporty tire that is gonna perform well but also not going to break the bank.

Use noes tire size i belive its a 245/60or 65/17 and cross it over to a 16in rim on a tire calculator

I've been messing around with the tire calculator as well as check what sizes actually exist.
For 16's there aren't a lot of "sport/performance" tires in a size I need, the only ones I've found are the General Grabber UHPs:

General Grabber UHP - TireRack

I had these on my S10 a few years ago and seemed pleased with them. That size is slightly shorter than my current tire by .8", but I think they would be good to go with.

Thoughts anyone?

29in tire would be perfect for 4/6
Of course i would go a little bigger and put a good mini tub in it as i love to fill my fenders as well as possible
i would go with a 30-30.5in tire IMO
My 275/30/24s on my old wheel/tire/drop was perfect
30.5in tire @4.5in of drop with a nice minitub and was perfect

On a side note,i believe im about to drop the truck down to 7in up front ,because it sits much higher with the new tires(285/30/24) than it did with 265/35/22
Going to pull the fenders and just cut out all the fenders and it will get tubs in july when i bag

Just read your post on gmfs also, thanks man. If only I had 17s, it seems like there are tons more sizes and tires available for them :okay: it'll probably end up being the grabbers that I go with. Cheap and decent

There aren't any deals on them around me though, and I have been checking every day. Plus I'd rather not spend the extra money on another set of wheels right now.

So I've got all the metal and bolts ready to fab up mounts and go lower up front. So what do you guys think 2 inch spindles or spindles and cut half a turn off my 2" coils?
