Slow RCSB bagged build

Looking good! Subb'ed for progress, any chance of pics on the accuair sensors mounted front/rear? I have the strong arms and KP, strongly thinging about going with the Accuair e-level :)


I have not gotten around to mounting the sensors yet, since only the front is bagged at the moment. After I get the back done I will mount and document the sensors.
 
Finally figured out this mig welder and got it running pretty good. This is from sectioning the trans crossmember.

Small update

Still waiting on specialty suspension to get my step notch and missing watts link hardware. It's now been 5 months and supposedly my shipments been "lost in the mail" 3 times so far. So I can't finish baggin the rear of my truck till I get these parts. Whoever I talk to "Donnie" says he's not able to help me and nick olivares has to ship out my order. So I'm pretty much taking it that I've been ripped off, worst customer service I've ever had.

I built some teflon SS braided leader lines for my front bags, the lines run rather close to the exhaust manifolds. And I've found out that I don't need all sensors installed for the elevel to work, so I will be installing the sensors shortly. Reno at accuair is awesome!!!!! Answered my email on Saturday!

Eventually I'll convert everything to stainless braided but I'm trying to figure out how to tie into the vu4 as the ptc fittings are pressed into the valves. Also debating wether to use gauges with the elevel? If I trust everything works as it should I technically won't need gauges.
 
Ok, got the corner reduction setup on my elevel so I can just run the front sensors for now until I find time to do the rear. Sensors have been mounted, will get some pics tomorrow. All in all elevel is an awesome system! There are a few quirks to it but nothing to write home about. I've decided I will be building my own notches (and buying my own watts link hardware) since specialty suspension stole my money. But I probably won't be able to get any work done till next year. Been working 70-80hr weeks and have no time to work on the truck, practically had to beg for today off to get sensors hooked up.

Way more left on the to do list. Especially when I can't leave the truck apart for more than a few days at the hobby shop.

Went back to stock spindles to try and get some negative camber back, with the belltechs when camber hit 0 was way too low to drive, especially with these low offset wheels. At the alignment shop right now, hopefully it will zero out at a height I can turn at. Plus I get 2" more lift and hopefully eliminate all bumpsteer as the tie rods are at the same angle as the lcas now. Only negative is the tie rods nearly max out when laid, had to grind a little on the spindle to get more travel.
 
Well no such luck with the alignment. Still about 1 degree positive at the ride height I want. But I'm really not willing to go back to stock control arms, too much work to go backwards. I'll just live with the 1 degree, which I don't think is really that bad cause the toe is good. Thanks for the compliments guys keeps me motivated to finish.

Thanks for the info Peyton, glad to know I'm not the only one. How do you run it, normally? With it low low ride height and air up to turn or just aired up enough to turn but out of alignment slightly?

My truck only aligned with it low low. Mine was aligned tucking rim

Not a problem man, tookem so you could get an idea how I did mine. Be sure to check clearances on both sides, I ended up breaking a sensor arm cause I just mirrored the pass side with out checking the travel.
 
Did you weld this tabs on? Haven't looked at my arms in forever lol

Yep welded to the arms, and the frame bracket is welded as well. I think I'm gonna grind those studs off and tap the frame to use bolts instead.
 
I ride around low regardless,I was so use to low static drops. Anyways it won't hurt your tires,main thing is having it aligned good with perfect Toe.
