What I ended up doing while I didn't have a spanner, is drop the top stud portion down to take the pressure off the cap. And just used a hammer and punch on the flanges to turn the collar, probably not the best way but did get the job done so I could get the truck off the lift.
Yeah there is some lift, I think at the very highest on the threads might be close to a 3" drop if I had to guess. About 5 full turns comes out close to 1/2" on my truck
Yeah they're all the same, I just borrowed one from my friend. It's for tein coilovers, so they all should work. Would be pretty simple to make one too
No real updates yet, truck was damaged a couple days ago. Tubs are still getting done, trying to get an HD hood, getting my rear bumper welded (spare tire access hole) and painted to match, rolled fenders and drop shackles. And what bodywork and replacing that is needed.

yes, but it wasn't fucked, just has a 3" dent from some hit and run jackass. And the inner lip from the tire catching it. So yeah, I guess it was fucked
