My 2011 GMC Crew Build (Bayou Betty)

Yeah I think he is finally focusing on her. Messaged today asking about removing some parts to make their life easier so I think we should start seeing some good updates...I hope

Yeah trucks been there since October, but he is worth the wait. He might be slow, but the work and customer service speaks for itself. It might even be hard to get in touch, but when yo do he will make things right and I have nothing but respect for them.

Do they lower where the engine mounts in the frame when doing a midsection/body drop, or just cut the firewall opening to be taller in the cab?

Cut the firewall if needed. The blower makes this a lot more difficult and the nnbs has a lot of room leaving minimal cutting, however with the blower I'll actually lose my windshield wipers and cowl. My benefit is I wanted them shaved anyway.

That's exactly what I was getting at, since you are lowering the cab on the frame, and the engine and trans can't really be lowered much more I was assuming the trans tunnel will be made bigger/taller and the engine would have to hit the firewall, if they are making the firewall bigger that answers my question. The next question would be, I am going to guess daily driving a body dropped truck would be pretty hard? Still excited to see the progress, gives me lots of ideas.

The path I am going does make it harder to daily a bodied truck, however the blower is the main reason I am losing an essential like wipers. That was solely my choice as well for that as Keith was going to spend time to save them and said fuck it I don't daily it let's smooth the cowl out since it likes to fade.

I think it's a circumstance of getting used to driving a body truck if you would actually want to daily it. My truck will be 100% built to drive, however I can answer the daily question better when I actually do. However louisiana with a bagged and bodied truck on 6's I don't think I would want to daily anyway.

Once the wipers are gone, she is officially out of commission for DD'ing. But bodied on billet 6's with a supercharger isn't really daily material anyways so go for it lol.

Just rainx the fak outta the windshield and roll out lol. I rarely use my wipers when it rains.

Until you get caught in a storm that rainx won't repel then you're just sitting there like fuck.

The truck already hasn't been a daily in yearssss. However I am going to use glass ceramic coating which will last a couple years granted I avoid drizzles in this damn truck let along full rain storms when I am driving. This thing is so babied it's almost ridiculous.

Don't just have to sit he could play with switches and make racetruck noises and massively confuse people why a truck is sitting under an over pass going up and down and revving up, it would almost be worth it
