bought the 6.0 from my brother in June and had it for a month and a half before I decided to keep the 1500.

Idk why I've never seen this thread before!? But anywayz I haz question A-ron. Or anybody else that wants to chime in. What kinda fuel mileage did you get outta that 6.0 HD? I'm planning on getting another NBS in the fall if everything goes to plan and I want either a 1500HD or 2500HD so I can have the CC and 6.5' bed but I don't wanna get 8mpgs lol. My red Z71 got 12-13 so that's kinda what I'm planning on/budgeting for

I never hand calculated it but the dic said I was getting a little over 10 and the bully dog programmer it had said 11-12. But I do mostly city driving. only took it on 2 long trips, 1 to Shreveport (~175 miles one way) and 1 to Southeast Nebraska (~600 miles one way) and it did alright. I wish I would have taken the mileage on both trips.

edit

That was the same reason for my brother getting that truck. He wanted a crew cab with the 6.5' bed and a gas motor. He drove it for about 4 months before he realized how shitty the gas mileage was and then he bought a LLY. His LLY gets about 18 in town/26 on the highway. Oh and he's on a 8" fabtech and 37's.

Oh ok, that's not bad at all especially for being lifted on some heavy ass wheels and 35s. I highly doubt I'll lift, just level till an inch of cali with some 20x10 Methods and 33s more than likely so it should be 12-14 I'd think. Especially if I find one with 4.10s, shouldn't be bad at all

Got the old lift torn down last night. Had to throw the FTS front cross member on there to see how it will look.
Can't wait to get this thing wrapped up! I am cleaning all of the grime and shit out from underneath the truck, so it will look completely new when we're done.
