Lifted nbs thread

Well I have a blackbear tune with the autocal so tuning isn't an issue but should I regear and get the expensive ass tranny or would an ol stock tranny with different gears do the trick, and what would changing the gear do to the truck pros and cons

Well I need to get my beast back on the road and I do all my own work and have a full time job so I'm just looking for a plug and play here I just need to know if I should do both or just get the gears

if you do the rear gears you gotta do the front,

you looking at like 1k for gears and 1500 for a stock trans rebuild or 3500-4500 for a bamf trans.

gears will give you more low and power, more MPG on back roads and traffic, but will suffer on the highway because it will turn more RPM
 
Well, just as soon as I got my white truck all fixed up from someone slamming into the front of it, it happens again!

Nga you crazy. Loved my 80e in my HD. Abused the shit out of it, had 34.5s on stock gears and it handled it like a champ.

Oh mine will handle like 800rwhp.. I just hate the 8 mile long first gear lol. I need 4.10s instead of my 3.73s but since I'm planning on dropping and running a 29" tire I might hold off lol. Mine also still hasn't been tuned much since I got it lol. So don't listen to me :cheeky: I'm sure once I get it dialed in ill love it

I ended up finding a new rebuilt 4l60e for only $600 imma take that and just save and probably upgrade to 4.56 and 80e. I know my blackbear has changed everything Ill just be waiting for the damn thing to go out then be set on the new 80e saw a level 3 flt for 18 and some change

I decided not go with that trans and just rebuild and bulk up my current one any opinions on a some good parts???
