Gloss black cover with the vortec in blue? That could look good

Not sure how to do it but that looks sweet! The coil brackets will look good

I'm not good enough with paint or photoshop to try anything either, but I used Cayman green like you suggested and I like it!

Paint the cover the teal with a bunch of coats then paint it black. Use 1200 to sand the black off of the vortec logo and the "ribs" to show the teal then clear the entire cover. :imo:

So make the vortec letters, the two swooshes, and the ribs on top all teal? I kinda like that...

sounds like a good plan to me.

instead of sanding through the black to the teal, i would take my time and tape it off, but thats me.

Taping it has to be since the teal is metallic. It's actually easier to get a straight line with tape and an x-acto knife too, than sanding it down. I've done it both ways though
