Look up AVS notches, it's just some 3/8" plate and 2x2 box tubing. If you are a welder, should be easy to make one.

thats what i did when i notched mine, i cut just enough to weld it all together, then cut out the middle afterwards.
Got em' done.. Well almost.. Gotta finish welding them. The angle for under the frame going towards the front didn't come out too well on one but did on the other. Look rough now but will be cleaned up alot better later.... Also just ordered flip kit from Tim. Told me the pinion angle adjustment is built into the bracket so no shims needed... nice

Never heard good things about djm notches. Have you already installed it? If not sell it lol
