Sometimes I get jealous of you GMC guys photogenic front ends. They look so clean...Truck looks good as usual Matt.
Soo... Kinda in a deliema. I've been sitting on some flares for a few months that are textured but scratched up and painted semi gloss black and still have the 3m tape that needs to be removed. Was just trolling eBay and I found these...

they advertise smooth surface ready to be painted. Researched the company a little and found them on Amazon for like 30 bucks more. Reviews were good besides like 2 and looked at customer pics to confirm smoothness.
trying to figure out if it would be worth it to buy these and just take them to get sprayed. As opposed to fucking with the tape trying to get it off now that it has solidified into concrete god I hate double sided tape, not to mention wouldn't have to sand these. Also don't know the origin of the flares I have OEM or not but they have some gouges that would have to be filled too... Thoughts?

Yassss with flames. Yeah Tis what I am leaning towards. Can do a test fit without taking off tape and before having them sprayed and if they fit like ass back they can go haha
Tis what I bought them for the other ones that is. Just purchased theses will update when they come in
So update those are trash, don't even come close to fitting right vs the other craigslist ones that are a little beat up but they fit like OEM all the holes match up... So requested a return for those and just gonna do a quick scuff and shoot of trim paint and try to get them on before I go to GA. Don't have the money to have them sanded and colormatched at the moment

Training got rescheduled again. Now to either June or August so still up north for awhile. Attempting to work my way through the long ass process of being a cop up here or in Florida so truck is getting de-tinted this week
