Huck's new daily - Victory Red '05 CCSSB

Welp, just dropped a bunch of coin to rebuild the whole front end and level it off.

-Mevotech loaded LCAs
-Trakmotive heavier duty CVs (gonna try these, I'll get some high articulation ones later on if needed)
-Mevotech center link and inner TRE's
-Mevotech outer TREs
-Mevotech idler arm
-AC Delco pitman arm (buddy of mine gave it to me cuz he never used it, it's a 4-spline, that'd be awesome if that's what my truck is but won't know till I get it apart)
-Spindle Source tubular UCA's that correct the BJ angle
-3" keys
-3" Bilsteins
-new center caps for the LTZs since one of them is busted

Only thing I didn't buy was wheel bearings cuz they felt pretty good when I did the brakes. I was going to but decided to save that $200 for now since we're coming up on Xmas. I can do them later on. And I'll probably load up the LTZs and tires to get them mounted/balanced this week or next

I dug the LTZs out from behind the house on Sunday to start getting them cleaned up and ready for the tire shop. They were nasty, especially this one. Apparently it was on a corner with a dragging brake or something?

I used a combination of CG's Diablo wheel cleaner and some Dawn super duper "for caked on grease" foaming dish soap, a couple different stiff bristle brushes and lightly scraping it with a flathead screwdriver to get to this point. I have some plastic razer blades that I think will do the rest. This is also the worst wheel, I'll keep an eye out for someone selling 1/2/3 cheap to swap out at some point. For now, I'll just keep it on the right rear

Backsides were super nasty, same thing, Diablo cleaner and a stiff brush. I may eventually paint back here

Then I dug out my new center caps so I could put on the custom red bowtie decals I had made. He did them quite a bit skinnier than the OEs (my fault for not giving him dims) but I actually kinda like it, it tones down the red

Then loaded them up for the tire shop, surprisingly a full set of 37s and 33s fit in a baby bed lol

Got them mounted yesterday, the 275/60s are quite a bit taller than the 265/70/17s

And threw 2 on the passenger side before work this morning. I actually think they'll fit even at stock height, will probably just rub the inner fender where the washer bottle is on the driver's side. I love these wheels lol

And stuck a jack under it to level it, they look pretty good. Wasn't sure if they'd still be too small or not
