Fiesty's 2000 Silverado

Yep, what Zach said. Dezol will be better in the long run especially pulling a trailer and all. Look at it like this, from the money you make off the sale of the gasser you can buy a bigger trailer and more equipment. :cheeky:

As much as I like your 1/2 ton, ^ that's what I'd do. especially with those good upgrades already done. You got a freakin steal on that truck, that'd be 18-20 all day long here. Plus with your landscaping and shit, it'd suit your needs a little better.

Yeah I'll drive it for a couple weeks, clean it up and do some body work, and if I don't like it I'll sell for a profit.

Yeah I can't wait to see how it pulls my lil trailer compared to my gasser lol

Work truck is not practical honestly. I don't have enough work to justify a separate work truck. Especially since I'm leaving for school in December.
Oh I thought the lawn bidness was an everyday thing.

Yeah that's pretty damn good for a highschool start up business. I did the same thing in HS, me and a buddy started in our 2 neighborhoods before we could drive with like 15 yards combined, by the time I left for college and he bought me out we were up to 120+ accounts with odd jobs all the time, 2 crews with full equipment and a 3rd truck to do mulch/pine straw jobs. Sometimes I wish I would've bought him out and just went to the local college, could be sitting fat now but oh well

yeah I started when I was 9. it's been a good lil gig. beat the hell out of any high school job. I had classmates begging to work for me lol.

Well I've had a rough evening. Picked up new truck. Put 8 miles on it. Easy tune, easy driving. Take off from a light and it falls on it's face. No power. Barely shifts. No CEL. I went home and shut it off, started it back up, light kicks on and I pull these codes- P1226, P1229, P1235, P1244. All injector circuit codes which means there's some electrical issue with the injectors, maybe a FICM. Did some research and saw wires rubbing is common. I take some wires up but never saw one worn through completely. I also found the crank case vent was popped off...... Put that back on, cleared codes. Ran great for 5 miles, now it's doing it again. It acts like its in limp mode but it shifts through the gears. Really frustrated and I hope I get this figured out soon.

But don't you love puzzles? Don't worry, you'll get it fixed.

Should've bought a 6.0 :troll:

Is it hard to start? You'll know if it's a FICM if it's an sob to crank and start.
Idk how the FICM is on a duramax, but on my 6.0 you can test the voltage. If it's below 48v, you have a problem

It seems to start normal.

Shitty pic but I put 50% tint on the light bar. Not as dark as fogs. Might put another layer depending on how much it hurts output. Might go back to clear fogs and bar though later.

Also ordered another set of switchbacks and turn signal sockets to put in place of DRL.. Kinda want to move DRL wires to another location. Thought about adding lights somewhere as a DRL. I don't know where though. Maybe get some LEDs that tap into a housing like strobes would.

Here's the duramax when I got it a couple days ago

Demolded, removed 4x4 sticker, debadged tailgate. Went to take off flares, and found something I didn't like behind the rear drivers side... Sold the toolbox and stock wheels for $405 :success: Haven't decided if I wanna take off the 2500HD badge and leave the duramax badge, seems like EVERYONE does that.

Gonna have my painter fix this. Also gonna tuck the tip.
