Dean's '11 Crew Cab Budget Build

Don't have a heat gun either though. I was planning on just using a hair dryer with the fishing line.

That's fine. Just will have to leave it there slightly longer. Heck even a warm day will help on releasing the glue.

Debadge rear of trok all of it. I left bowtie for now since Chevy. I also left moldings because people around here try and tear stuff up.

The best look is the look you like.

Think I'm going to go with this for now (full debadge). Going to try to get it all off tomorrow.

Got the bowtie off the rear. It was fairly easy with fishing line and no heat, so I'm fairly optimistic about the rest.

Just debadged/demolded everything shy of the Z71 decals. They fought back pretty hard, so they will come off later.

Thanks, it definitely cleaned it up a lot.

Anyone got any tips to get the z71 badge off?

just peel it off it will take a bit and then use goo-gone to get rid of the sticky lines

Finally got em off!

Used this stuff, let it soak for 30 min, then peeled right off.

Then used bug and tar remover along with a clay bar to get the rest of the gunk off. And here she sits, completely badge free!
