I was on my way back from Bristol tonight and had to go wide to miss a semi that was coming over the line. Ended up on the shoulder and hit a pothole (I think). Felt it pulling like a mofo, so pulled over to check it. Alignment was knocked way the fuck out and the wheel is bent pretty good. Was not fun limping it home for 2 more hours. That makes 4 out of 6 of these damn 22s bent.

Think I found a new setup that would work for me. Black Rhino Tanay Silver in 20x10 with 305/55/20 Toyo Open Country A/T II for $2600 OTD.

:notbad: That's not a bad price at all and not a bad looking wheel. Sucks about the 22s but I think I'd def be swapping to 20s too after all your issues

Also found option number 2. It's a little easier on the pocket book at first, but will look awesome over time. Same wheels as above, but in 22x10. I'll throw on my current tires then swap out once I can afford it. Still waiting on a quote, but by looking around online it looks like $1500. I could do this with other 22x 10 too.

If you're gonna spend the money, I'd get beefy tires first cuz at this rate the new wheels will be toast too lol. And see if you can get the bends repaired local cuz they don't look that bad.

Well that ended quick, wife put her foot down and said no to completely new wheels. So that only leaves me a couple options. I'm going to go by a repair place tomorrow after work and see what they say. I'm taking the two that are off the truck too so that they can see about them since they are not as bad. If it's too much to fix them I guess ill be hunting down deals on Craigslist and hope for a decent replacement.

Id say get those gmc 17s and find some cheap 33s to put on them until you're in a more comfortable situation to get an entire new set of wheels and tires.

Reached a decision that me and the ole lady can agree on and makes the most sense financially. I'm going to just replace the 2 bent ones (only 369 shipped) and try to flip the 4 bent ones to recoup some funds. As much as I wanted new wheels, it just didn't make sense financially to do so. Moving forward, ill be saving to get bigger tires asap so that the wheels aren't so vulnerable to bends in the future.
