It runs great still but has a 2 strokeish blue cloud when I start it so I’m pretty sure it’s just valve seals so really I should just stop fucking around and do them, what I’ve spent in oil I could have probably rebuilt the damn thing from valve cover to oil pan :lol:

Lol Exactly why I was planning to pull the motor in the white truck after the blue one is done. Oil ain’t cheap, even cheap oil

Works done, should be able to pick it up sometime next week after he’s done dealing with insurance plus I kind of forgot it needs tags so it can sit for another week anyway and it won’t bother me :lol:

Went to Branson for vacation and drove the turd, 500 miles each way and a couple hundred miles while we were there. It desperately needs gears but other than that just killed highway miles like it always has

Ended up getting this 89 from my uncle for a project with the boys, I actually hauled it for him when he brought it home. 302, 5 speed 4x4 actually a really solid body for being an Iowa truck for the last 12 years and Minnesota before that.

Plans are just catch it up on maintenance from sitting for about 5 years, clutch which is why it got parked originally, get rid of the god awful taillights, level it and toss on some 31s.
