Junk really? I bought it before I had the bed cover, planned to use it so the gate woukdnt get stolen but never used it.

Yeah, they're junk. Buddy had one on his '00 Z for a while. Made the gate hard as hell to open, slowly rusted on the inside to the point it wouldn't let the gate handle move at all. Had to break the damn thing with a hammer/screwdriver to get it off.

Isn't shaving a gate relatively inexpensive? If you don't buy another gate and have someone else install it. Thought the handle kits were under like 40?

Shit, that's old ingenuity. My grandfather had one on his 70 C10, that's where I learned the trick from.

Need to get these spindles swapped out soon and try to find some 275/40s
