Bgrays winter time waster

Thanks fellas.

I try to be very detailed. All the nuts and Bolts get sandblasted, primed, then painted. Its the little stuff that I enjoy. The fact hat my CC is oil sprayed underneath makes me wanna vomit

Rust check stuff works great, there's a new label now tho. Still has the same name tho.

It's an amazing product. I coat everything metal I own that is outside in this stuff. ESP my hunting gear. Homemade robo poles, deer stands etc. It makes it easier to handle with thick winter gloves. I have also painted over it with sero issues.

Decided to get some new inner fenders. Others were a bit marked up, but the passenger side was warped. For years the truck had a volant intake tube, so it warped the inner over time.

Truck sat at 28" from ground to fender with old setup. Now at 27.5" on 5" djm uca and lca, and 1" belltech CREW CAB drop springs. Reason i used those is because i wanted a higher spring rate coil, but didnt really want it much lower. Overall netted me .5" more drop which IMO looks awesome. I hate lowered trucks that drag there ass, especially ones that have a bit of power. just personal preference on stance I suppose

I called local London deal. Discounts on 50 of more cans OR $456ish for a 45gal drum of rocker gaurd! Wonder how many trucks could be done with that. Also will undercoat my CCSB for $250

Brandon, your attention to detail is just unbelievable man. You nailed the specs on the wheels and narrowing the rear end man, absolutely perfect!

Question for ya, what made you decide to go with the DJM arms over what I assume was spindles/springs before? I've been contemplating dumping my McGaughy's spindles and springs this winter for arms just to try something different from the 4 or 5 sets that I've had lol. I doubt it's been out much but have you noticed any ride difference?

Can't say enough about the build man, has always been one of my favorite rcsbs ever since you did the HD hood mod back in the day on PT lol.

OG of hd gmc hoods!

I went with arms cause i wanted to spice up the front end and try to eliminate bump steer issues i had(really bad). But you hear alot of mixed reviews on them having issues. I gotta wait for a nice dry day to test drive, but as it sits the sway bar eyelet and sway bar link kit mounting bracket is WAYYY off, about 2.5" difference. Tony doesnt know why, and i emailed DJM to see what they say.

If they cannot resolve issue I will have to grind the tab off and make my own bracket. If they bumpsteer bad Im gonna toss the lowers in the parts pile, get 16" MCG spindles(I believe these are bumpsteer free from my own experiments) and trim my 3" coils a bit to get the same stance as It sits now

thanks for the compliment on the work. People always ask why i keep them so nice underneath, but its personal preference. Dirty chassis actually bother me and all i can think about is how dirty it is. OCD much
