BARBER's 2011 Chevy LML Duramax

Nothing new. Just been driving it. Rear bumper is still at the powder coater. Haven't been able to tinker or work on this thing lately. I don't have a heated shop and this winter has been so god awfully cold. Pictures from today...

Holy shit. Never put two and two together until now but my uncle has cattle south east of Owanka. Had a bag of chips at the Country Corner on 44 on our way back to Rapid. Small World.

No shit?? What's your uncle's name? Where you would have turned to go south towards Owanka from Interstate 90, that exit is 90, my place is just to the north/northwest about 6 miles. And the Country Corner is still open. Don't make it down to that area very often. Probably a little old lady by the name of Robin who was present at the store.

How are your ebay headlight housings holding up? My OEM heads fog up too much and are hazing up again.
Buddy of mine bought them and 1 week later they're both leaking.

But it gets better

They weren't leaking bc of the quality, the high beam bulbs wouldn't go in for him so he left them out

From what I've heard they're good quality for the price

So far so good. I should have siliconed around them before putting them in. When I was troubleshooting the switchbacks a day later after the install I went around the top and sides with silicone. This summer I had one get moisture in it. Overall I'm satisfied with them.

After about 7 months I finally got a new rear bumper on the back of this thing. Fusion rear bumper that got sand blasted, powder primer, and a powder base that ended up being too blue for my paint. Had a local friend scuff and shoot it with base/clear Stealth grey for a near perfect paint. Ended up sticking quite a bit of money into this thing in the end.

Like I said on snapchat, that really looks good on there. Probably one of the best replacement bumper designs I've seen.

Thanks ya guys I'm glad I went with it. I wish I would have taken some pictures of the bumper before it was coated. The craftsmanship of it was beyond impressive. Really sharp and clean corners. Only problem with it is after sandblasting, powder prime, basecoat powder and even after paint base and clear...you can still see quite a few grinder marks on it. Next thing is I'll add some adhesive backed tread tape on the top of the step pad areas.

The only thing I don't care about is the plate where the license plate mounts to is angled upwards. I thought that was dumb. I may find a 8 or 9 inch white led bar to mount above my plate.
