BARBER's 2011 Chevy LML Duramax

That bumper looks really good, looks like they took the extra effort to make something that actually flows with the lines of the truck well.

Yea I'm on the fence on Fusion's front replacement bumpers but I came across that picture on Facebook some where and really liked the looks of it and found out it was a Fusion. It will be arriving bare and I will remove my fuel door and send it off to Prismatic Powders to have them match a color since this Stealth Grey is such a crazy color.

Just curious why you want powder coat so badly? Because a properly prepped (sand blasted, etching primer, filler primer, base, clear) Paint job would hold up just as well and then you would have an exact color match.

I think the powder will hold up better than paint. Its going to get beat on pretty good with the gravel, especially when I pull a trailer.

5" AFE Exhaust showed up.
Dropped off the underhood parts at the powder coater.
Ordered 305/55 Trail Grapplers
Made a rim trade agreement for some nearly new OEM 8 lug 20s. Trade my peeling ones plus $400 cash.

...all done yesterday.
I need to order an EGR delete kit and a PCV reroute and got a friend who will help me on deleting a bunch of that stuff since he's deleted an LBZ and his previous LML.

deleting a LML is a little more intimidating then a LBZ and LMM i think but haven't looked into it to much.

plans sound good!!! Wheels upgrade sounds expensive but i guess thats casue i paid $400 for wheels and tires and then again $4500 for wheels and tires....i think you could get him down or find a better deal IMO

Not hard. Taking out the egr is just time consuming, hence why I just used plates. PCV is easy, I ran mine through my catch can, then the rest is tuned out and gone with exhaust

I got both Screamin' Diesel Perf. blocker plates for the EGR and PCV deletes, should be arriving soon. I'll pull the up pipe off and have my local diesel shop tig weld that shut. The down pipe will be fun, the new HSP one is a straight down pipe, so I'll be eliminating the 9th injector and any other sensors that are in that downpipe. My tuner was pretty sure those can and will be turned off amongst everything else. Hoping this coming Thursday I'll get my 305s put on.

ah i thought the def system was going to be more of a pain
but if that all done by exhaust and down pipe then it should be a walk in the park compared to installing a twin kit...

Probably close to two weeks ago I got my 305s and new factory 20s put on. Got around 1k on them already. I forgot how badly these things throw the rocks when I'm on the gravel. I'm still on the fence about running these things.

My under hood parts that I picked up from the powder coater. Not an exact match, the color I chose is a little too much grey. They'll work for under the hood.

will look good under the hood IMO ...seems like people around he are going back to the whole lime green trend under the hood

Slight update:

Things have been crazy lately on the farm and with family and such. Had intentions of using a buddies shop and a friend or two to tackle all my deletes, downpipe, up-pipe, exhaust, egt probe, y bridge, etc., etc. and then haul it to my tuner but I said F it, just took it up and had them guys do the exhaust and a tune on it. I'll do all the other deletes maybe this spring when I have the time. Rear bumper is also at the powdercoater. Borrowed my friends plasma cutter to cut the holes for some flush mount led pods.

My tuner called said they about had it done, it will be finished completely tomorrow but won't be able to pick it up towards the end of the week due to weather.

If you dont want them whuulz, feel free to send them and the tiarz my way
Nah, after the money I spent on this setup I could have went with a 20x10 and a nice 295 all terrain setup. Sigh....oh well.

Been loving the new tune. It's just a mild tune, 60 or 65 horse tune. Noticed today it shifted weird when I had the tow/haul on when I was in traffic. Need to drive and try it again out on the highway to see what it acts like. Very little smoke either.

Still need to get my Edge pyro probe installed. I got a stainless 6in. tip that I'll put on. Also found a different powder color that will be used on my rear bumper. This color is a little more on the blue side but the metallic matched the exterior pretty good. I know it looks really off in the picture but I thinks it's because the pic was taken at a slight angle. Looking straight onto it, this was our best choice. And we had three chip swatches to pick out of.

Quick wash after driving in salt and slush the last couple days.

Nothing new. Just been driving it. Rear bumper is still at the powder coater. Haven't been able to tinker or work on this thing lately. I don't have a heated shop and this winter has been so god awfully cold. Pictures from today...
