honestly, knowing GM they will screw it up. I think the current Cruze is the best looking economy car GM has ever made and one of the best looking ever.
supposidly its suppose to be the malibu front end on it but idk. my dad is at the NYC auto show today working for cadillac, doing competitive comparison with the escalade and the benz gl. he may take some pics of stuff since its media day.
Well 5 hours in and first piece is in. There is hardly anything online about how to take parts out. It was a little never racking removing the air bags my trial and error. Lucky for me I got it first time around.
FUCK THAT this rocket is heavy as fawk. 4148lbs on the door tag. As first I want like this can tow how much? Then was all HOLY fuck this car is heavy. :mindblown:
I know it is only a start, but these seats honestly are a PITA!!!!! Trial and error. Most of the holes line up but are way to small. For the seat release I spend an hour and half slowly trimming leather till it finally fit. Better to small than to big. My gut was turning cutting almost $2k worth of seats. BUT I got it close, there are a few wrinkles but I guess I am just to picky. I hope over time they smooth out.
seat release, both bottom corners and their wrinkles:
psssf after what I spent on them, no one will be sitting on them. If they do, I will have them put, keys, wallet, change and belts in map box. And no blue jeans
Rears are done minus head rests. I'm done for the weekend. I will have to Finish the fronts next week. Also gonna have the rear head rests done by a pro, I can't seem to get them to fit.
